They offer a wide variety of rifle scopes and their lines range from the higher priced Elite 4200 to the medium Elite 3200, and the lower end, but still quality scopes, the Banner line up. For the money-saving seeker, they also offer up their Sportsman line and their .22 Rimfire Bushnell Rifle Scopes. The Bushnell lifetime warranty is great; however, it is not transferable as with some other rifle scope manufacturers.
Their Elite 4200 is equipped with an adjustable objective in 6×24x40 to ensure performance time after time. The object of the adjustable objective is to give the shooter increments in both yards and meters and to act as a rangefinder. This model is especially good for hunting small game. The Elite 4200 has infinity settings beyond 300 yards and adjustments can be made without searching for unnecessary tools. They offer a Multi-x reticle that provides sharp and clear images, even in bright sunlight.
Bushnell’s Elite 3200 model has a variable power of 3 to 10 with a 40mm lens and includes what is on most of their scopes, Bushnell’s patented Rainguard. It also offers quick focus adjustments that are repeatable and the Elite 3200 is compact and reasonably priced.
Their 22 caliber rifle scopes or .22 Rimfire Rifle Scope comes in two models, a 4×32 mm with fixed power and a variable power model that is 3-9×32mm. On each of these rifle scopes you get fully coated optics and fingertip adjustments for elevation and windage. The .22 Rimfire is at the lower end on the price scale, but still performs well in its category.
Both models are tested and come in good for being waterproof and fogproof.
Bushnell’s Banner rifle scopes are designed to perform well from early morning to late evening. They feature Bushnell’s Dusk & Dawn Brightness (DDB) multi-coated lenses for brightness. They have a one-piece tube design and the Banner line-up has scopes for all sorts of hunting from big game to varmint to turkey hunting. They are 100% waterproof and fogproof and dry-nitrogen filled. They have fingertips adjustments that can be re-set for ease of use.
The Sportsman line up claims to be the ideal scope for those who crave the Bushnell quality, but are on a budget. This model is durable and features multi-coated optics, one-piece tube construction and is 100% waterproof and fogproof. It comes with a fast-focus eyepiece and good fingertip adjustments.
No matter which Bushnell rifle scope line up you choose, you can bet you’re getting not only a reliable name, but a company that’s been making scopes for a while.
They do keep up on technology and offer it in their scopes through technology integration while keeping their scopes priced in affordable ranges. A good scope for beginners to medium-skilled shooters and hunters.
rainguardRainguard®
Bushnell Rifle Scopes permanent, patented, hydrophobic (water-repellant) lens coating prevents fogging by causing condensation from rain, sleet, snow or even your own breath to bead up into much smaller droplets than on standard coatings. Smaller droplets scatter less light which results in a clearer, brighter view. Now the hunter won’t miss the shot of a lifetime because of rain or accidentally breathing on his eyepiece.
