This rifle scope is very economical and is offered at a much cheaper price than its other competitors in the market. The Leupold Rifleman kept a very low profile and has not really made much of a big bang when it was released. It is one of the lightest scopes ever tested, alongside the Nikon Monarch.

The construction of the Leupold Rifleman was made as durable as possible so that it can withstand even the roughness of conditions. It has a great finish, made up of smooth and non-reflective matte black so it does not distract you or reflect and scare off your target.

Aside from its body the optics of the Leupold Rifleman models has also been proven to be of high quality. However it has not amazed me when the Leupold Rifleman was tested for low light conditions. Unfortunately it could only perform above average and did not give the perfect view I had hoped to see. The lens of the Leupold Rifleman was not perfect but they are fully coated. It's evident that the coating process is not where the money was spent remember, the Leupold Rifleman is an economical Leupold rifle scope.

The Leupold Rifleman’s dials, when it comes to windage and elevation can be adjusted perfectly and with great accuracy and ease. However, they would need to be adjusted with the use of a screwdriver or a coin, which you really do not want to do if you are in hot pursuit with your target. The adjustment dials do not produce any clicks. Instead, they have indicator marks to show the position you have changed to. This was not a bad thing at all unless you are used to hearing clicks that other rifle scopes seem to have as a standard, you might forget that your Leupold riflemen does not have that standard.

Although the Leupold Rifleman does not have scope caps or rubber eyepiece guards on the ocular lens, you can still get them. Unfortunately, you will have to purchase these essentials separately.

The Leupold Rifleman is threaded at the objective and ocular lenses so that it can also accommodate Leupold’s Alumina series. These add-ons are used as light intensifiers and lens protectors.
