They have a good selection and line-up of scopes including the World Class, Golden Antler, Proghorn, and .22 rifle scopes. However, perhaps their greatest feat is the new EXP Extreme Performance model. The EXP has an oval objective lens and boasts a variable power magnification. You can get the EXP in two options, the lower magnification models have 1.5 to 5 power magnification and the upper models have 3 to 9 power magnification. The objective lens that measures in at 54mm by 42mm gives you the choice of mounting the scope low on any rifle; you can gain tremendous light this way. Finally, the EXP has an eye-piece designed to give you maximum convenience when hunting and easy on the spot adjustment capabilities.

The World Class models deliver high-performance optics and features like Tasco’s Supercon multi-layered coating on both the objective and ocular lens. They deliver when light is low and offer a clear image. They are all 100% waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof and built with Tasco’s Advanced Monotube Construction.

Tasco’s Golden Antler rifle scopes are value priced and engineered with a one inch advanced construction for durable and reliable performance. The have a high definition coating on all lens surfaces and fully coated optics that enhance light transmission. The Golden Antler scopes are also waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof.

The Proghorn line-up is what the company calls their, “top of the line rifle scope.” Superior in optical clarity and brightness even in dim light it’s 100% waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. They are manufactured to stand up to recoil and the harsh wilderness. Equipped with multi-coated SuperCon options that deliver, they also have finger-adjustable windage and elevation controls for ease of use.

Tasco Rifle Scopes .22 rimfire rifle scopes help you achieve ultimate accuracy whether you are hunting or out for target shooting. They feature a full-sized one inch Advanced Monotube Construction and a fifty yard parallax setting that fits all standard .22 bases. Their Magenta multi-layered lens coatings provide clear and bright images and these are waterproof and fogproof.

On the Tasco Rifle Scopes website, we liked their explanation of what the numbers mean on each scope—for example their magnification ratings. They also offer a good line-up of accessories and sections called, “Rifle scope basics,” where you can learn about such topics as choosing the right scope, how each scope is structured, reticles, and the different optical coating types. They even have a glossary of rifle scope terms. And, if you want, you can download brochures for all of their models. We like these options.

This is more in the form of a question. I have a tasco rifle scope that I have had on my 257 roberts for more than a few years and it has given me fine service until now. I was unable to get the dust cap off of the ajustment screws. after working with it for a time I discovered tha the metal discs under the adjust ments were broken and the cover caps were frozen. Reading Tasco’s web site it stated there was a lifetime gaurenty on you scopes. If so, where would I send my scope to have it repaired. Again I have had this scope on my rifle for many years.

Thank you for your time. Errol Golsan

I have a VAR624X42M scope.Recently while cleaning my rifle I bumped the scope on a cabinet while putting it away. On my next range trip I noticed the vertical and horizontal hairs are not square to one another. Elavation and windage adjustments work fine but cross hairs are definitly out of square. Can they be adjusted?
